A dog was rescued from a barbed wire fence in Chalfont St Peter today (Sunday).

A fire engine and crew from Beaconsfield were called out to Leachcroft to assist the RSPCA at 12:13pm after the dog became caught in the fence.

Bucks Fire and Rescue confirmed the animal was released before firefighters arrived and made the fence safe.
